Vegesaurs Summer of Discovery

Vegesaurs, a children’s animated TV series aimed at preschoolers, featuring dinosaur-like creatures modelled after vegetables. Set in a prehistoric world, the show follows the adventures of Ginger, a young Tricarrotops, and her Vegesaur friends as they learn lessons about teamwork, problem-solving, and friendship.

Campaign Objective:
This 8-week campaign aimed to boost Google search volume for Vegesaurs without using clickable links. The strategy centred around a promotional competition, encouraging parents to search for Vegesaurs and play a daily casual game. Players could enter weekly and grand prize draws, earning more entries with repeated visits.

Promotional Mechanics:
The campaign integrated organic and paid social media efforts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Clout, our platform developed exclusively for the licensing industry, was key in vetting and sourcing 34 influencers to ensure optimal results. With Clout’s insights, influencers with highly relevant audiences were selected. Their content was instrumental in driving results and amplifying the campaign across key demographics. The influencer collaboration resulted in an impressive engagement rate of 24.7% by reach. Additionally, a paid social campaign raised awareness of the online competition, reaching over 2 million targeted UK parents.

Competition Mechanics:
Parents could engage in a daily noughts-and-crosses game to earn entries into both weekly and grand prize draws. Sharing the competition on social media granted additional entries. Weekly prizes included Vegesaurs product bundles, and the grand prize offered a family weekend stay at the CBeebies Land Hotel.
